Let's go to the park!!!

The Columbus Metro Parks have amazing events year round. Use the link to go their webpage and see what is coming up. Most events are free and do not need to be signed up for in advance. There are even programs designed to help the scouts earn badges.

The Columbus Metro libraries aren't just a place to pick up books. The offer plenty of events that are scout appropriate. For best results filter by Event Type and Age.

Our friends at GSWCF have a wonderful step by step guide on how to teach knife safety to the scouts. It is not a badge program in GSOH, but there are fun patches that can be purchased for the scouts and worn on the back of their vest/sash.
